Between 00:00 GMT 23rd November 2020 and 23:59 GMT 15th December 2020. You can play at anytime of day or night.
The game will last approximately 4.5 hours to play. Once your team captain has agreed to hit the start button, the whole session will be timed end-to-end. The game consists of multiple rounds.
You and your team mates will need to have laptops as your primary devices to view information about the game. You can use multiple devices and multiple screens should you wish. Just note that we have only tested the multiple User interfaces on Laptops and normal browsers like Chrome, Edge and Safari. If you are using older equipment or tablets with smaller screens, you may not be able to read all the data available to you which could seriously impact your team’s performance.
You will need good wifi for playing the game. We suggest that you have a good broadband connection. The way our software works is that your browser is continuously talking to the server sending and receiving data. This means that a consistent connection is more desirable than to have huge speeds. A 10Mbps line is plenty and we have tested and run games over tethered mobile connections. If you are on a poor internet line, you might consider using a mobile 3G/4G/5G connection as a backup. Note that occasional loss of connection will not really affect your gameplay – it only gets affected if you are disconnected for longer than a few minutes. But of course – you can use your team mates to help out if this happens… which is a test of your resilience… which is part of the gameplay.
You will need to have some conferencing facility to share ideas, discuss things between you. This is not supplied by us. You can use any system you like – Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, GoToMeeting – the list is endless and the choice is yours.
From 23rd November you will be able to play anytime within the play window on or before 9th December 2020. You and your team will need to have approximately 4.5 hours clear. You can’t start and stop the game. Once the timer is running, it’s running!
You will need a minimum of 5 players to play the game. Maximum 10 people. Just remember that more isn’t necessarily better when it comes to working together. Remember the 2 pizza rule: https://www.businessinsider.com/science-behind-jeff-bezos-pizza-rule-2014-9?r=US&IR=T
During the process, we will ask you for all the participants and a team captain (just in case you are buying the gameplay on behalf of others in your organization). Finally, you will need to select your new and revolutionary TeamName to make you stand out in the crowd.
